Working with Children Check Requirements
The Australian Character Education Summit takes place in place at Scotch College, an active school, and all attendees are therefore required to meet child safety requirements as part of their registration.
What you need to provide:
- VIT registration number – for teachers based in Victoria
- Victorian WWCC number – for all other attendees based in Victoria (e.g., sponsors, exhibitors)
- Your state’s equivalent WWC number – for interstate attendees
- International guests: Requirements to be confirmed
A note for teachers based in Victoria:
VIT registration legally replaces the need for a separate WWCC in Victoria, so no additional application is required.
Applying for a WWCC:
If you need to apply, please do so as early as possible – processing typically takes 2-4 weeks.
Apply for a Victorian Working with Children Check
Please note:
Interstate WWCCs are valid for events held in Victoria, so attendees from other states do not need to apply for a Victoria-specific check.
